baptist twenty one

Bryan shares some thoughts on being an unlikely Southern Baptist here.  If you have some time, please read the article. He has a lot of interesting thoughts on being proud to be member of the Southern Baptist Convention. It definitely opened up my eyes since I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church in Easley, SC. I came to know the Lord at the altar of this church, I went on my first mission trip, 4 to the Mission Friends and (as Bryan joked about) was a GA. This church, Mt. Airy, is a great church and is still sending out people all the time on short and long term missions projects as well as full time missionaries to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

If you have some more time after reading his great post, please check out the rest of the blog. The Baptist twenty one guys are committed to being “baptist in the 21st century”. There is always an interesting post that tends to open up my eyes a bit.
